Protecting Our Animals at Caprio's Hair Studio
Paul Mitchell® is always looking out for our furry friends. In 1987, they became the first professional beauty company to announce that they don’t conduct or endorse animal testing.
John Paul Mitchell Systems is showing consumers once again why it's a leader in cruelty-free compassion. Last year, the company pulled out of China after being informed that it would have to pay for animal tests in order to continue selling its products in China. Rather than be part of a market where animal tests are required, JPMS CEO and co-founder John Paul DeJoria made the decision to stop selling its products in China in order to remain committed to the company’s cruelty-free policy.
"Since Paul Mitchell® was founded in 1980, they have been cruelty-free. They do not conduct or condone animal testing on our products, and they will not attempt to market there products in China until alternatives to animal testing methods have been accepted by the government. They are honored and encouraged to be working with China to bring about positive change. Paul Mitchell always has been and always will be cruelty-free!" said DeJoria.
