Celebrating 21 years in business!
1st October 2019 is a big day as the salon has been trading for a whopping 21 years! Yes its been 21 years since I took the plunge and decided to go into business on my own. It’s had it’s high’s and it’s low’s but overall it’s been a huge success. During these years I’ve worked hard at obtaining a few accolades and even won some awards.
In the earlier years, I was a finalist in Clynol Business Awards for Social Media Marketing Salon Of The Year & finalist in Salon Interior Award both in 2012.
2014/15 was the most rewarding year winning ‘Silver Salon Of The Year’ with Great Lengths, WOW! what a feeling that was to be recognised for all the hard work put into building our Great Lengths Hair Extension business. Following that in 2016/17 I was a finalist for a photoshoot image I created for Great Lengths, I was runner up for Creative Volume and Gold Salon Of The Year 2016/17. Once again in 2018/19 being awarded for Gold Salon Of The Year runner up was a proud moment too. I’ve bounced back after the salon was partly destroyed by fire in 2004, that was a really difficult time. I’ve also had more than my fair share of break ins to deal with yet still the salon pulls through.
But it’s not all about awards, that’s not the be-all and end-all of what Caprio’s is about, the service our guests receive in the salon is our main priority. We want our guests to enjoy their time in the salon, escape from the rat race and leave with great looking healthy hair. My team of Stylists, who have also been with me for many years, and assistants work very hard to ensure all of the above is delivered on a daily basis. I’m guessing we don’t do a bad job being as we have a lot of loyal long-standing guests that continue to visit us for their hairdressing services, some for the whole 21 years we’ve been trading! Ongoing training is paramount at Caprio’s Hair Studio, we attend regular training seminars and courses in order to stay on trend with what’s hot and what’s not in the world of hair fashion. All this, a great close-knit team and great leadership are how Caprio’s Hair Studio has achieved a 21-year milestone. Here’s to another 21 years!
